Common Analysis of Refrigerator Malfunctions and Related Solutions
Date:2026-07-07 Source:Frigix Refrigeration Visits:9

With the improvement of residents' economic consumption level, the popularity of refrigerators and cold storage is becoming wider and wider, and people's demand for the use of refrigerators is gradually increasing. However, in our daily use, there will be more or less usage failures, most of which are caused by our non-standard operation and inadequate daily maintenance. Below are several common failures and related solutions:

(1) Frequent compressor start-up: If the power supply voltage is too high, the machine should be stopped immediately and restarted after the power supply voltage returns to normal. Start the compressor and check if it has returned to normal. If it still cannot work properly, contact relevant after-sales personnel for on-site maintenance;

(2) The indicator light is on normally, but the compressor is not working and makes a buzzing current sound. It should be stopped immediately. If the local voltage fluctuation range often exceeds the specified range and is unstable, an AC voltage stabilizer should be installed. After the power supply voltage returns to normal, start and check the effect;

(3) There is no frost on the surface of the freezer evaporator, and the compressor has been running for a long time. The pipeline is damaged and leaking, and the refrigerant is leaking. Contact professional after-sales personnel for maintenance;

(4) Frost forms on the surface of the evaporator, causing the compressor to run continuously

① Excessive opening and closing of the freezer doors;

② Improper placement, insufficient ventilation and heat dissipation space, or dust and other impurities adhering to it, resulting in poor ventilation and heat dissipation effects;

③ The temperature regulation controller fails or the temperature sensing bulb detaches from the evaporator, resulting in frost formation on the evaporator;

Solution: Defrosting work should be carried out in a timely manner to clean the dust and other impurities on the condenser and compressor. Sufficient space should be left around the refrigerator and it should not be tightly attached to the wall; If the temperature controller malfunctions or the temperature sensor is detached, it is necessary to have the after-sales technician perform maintenance or replacement;

(5) Compressor not working:

① If the power indicator light does not light up, it is because the power fuse is blown and the fuse needs to be replaced;

② The indicator light is on normally, indicating a fault in the controller circuit. It is necessary to contact a professional maintenance technician for on-site inspection and repair;

③ The temperature controller is in weak mode and the ambient temperature is too low. Adjust the temperature appropriately.

Attention: The above are several common problems with refrigeration cabinet malfunctions. If there are other malfunctions or if you do not know how to operate them, please contact the product after-sales personnel in a timely manner. Do not operate them casually to avoid unnecessary equipment damage.
